My husband and I bought a 1950s ranch that was in need of some major improvements in nearly every room. We did not want to break the bank all at once so when we started getting estimates for remodeling our kitchen we had major sticker shock. We started out inviting remodeling companies to our home for their no obligation price quotes. We quickly decided to be our own project manager and hire our own contractors for each stage of the work as we realized that would be the way to get it done within our budget. I love my new kitchen and Mark Gainey is one reason why.
When I met Mark Gainey (by a random discussion at a party) and his wife, miraculously they informed me that Mark is a cabinetmaker and all around wood worker and can nearly make anything if you can imagine it. My husband and I decided to invite them over and discuss my idea for a wall of cabinets in my kitchen where there never were any. This had to be very tailor made to fit where we needed it to fit. Not only is the fit perfect, but also the look is exactly what I had pictured in my mind. Mark listened and looked at pictures of my ideas and even gave us some ideas we had not thought about. That was a few years ago and I still get asked about this beautiful built in cabinet in my kitchen. We have had Mark back on several other occasions like putting up crown moulding, wainscoting, and discussing a new mantle for the fireplace. He is absolutely a perfectionist and you will not be disappointed when the job is done. That is why we will only refer Mark to our friends and family and only will use him in the future when the need arises for more of Mark's talented work. If you can explain it to him or show him pictures of a project, Mark can build it and probably better than you imagined it!!!
